I will take good care of your people.
We all care deeply about the people we serve. I know when we’re referring to another provider for additional care, we want to make sure the client will be in good hands and receive the care they need. You are always welcome to e-mail or text me to arrange time to discuss potential referrals or inquire into availability before referring.
In addition to being EMDR certified, I’m trained in Brainspotting and am well versed in Ego-State Therapy and Internal Family Systems. I address trauma very gently, ensuring we do not exceed my clients’ capacities. My practice has a strong somatic focus and I am currently in the three year Somatic Experiencing training program.
I’m well-trained and experienced working with all elements of perinatal mental health, including infertility, pregnancy loss, stillbirth, pregnancy complications, birth trauma, NICU parenting, difficulty adjusting to parenting, and perinatal anxiety and depression.
I am trained in and love working with clients healing from narcissistic abuse.
I’m am comfortable working with preverbal trauma using Katie O’Shea and Sandra Paulson’s Early Trauma Protocol.
Finally, many of my clients don’t present with explicit trauma. Many of my clients just feel anxious and inadequate much of the time despite being appearing to function very well and being highly accomplished. You may find the work you’re doing beginning to loop. I love working with these clients and can help get the loop unstuck so the healing process can flow more smoothly.

Additionally, I’ve been lucky to complete multiple rounds of training in Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. While these are not my primary modalities, they are helpful adjuncts to my primary methods of working.
I worked for many years in higher level of care eating disorders treatment, and while I no longer treat acute eating disorders, the Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size models are core to my personal and professional values.
I also worked for several years in a clinic that provided gender affirming care and will always be dedicated to being an LGBTQ+ ally and affirming clinician.
I am also well versed in and enjoy supporting late-identified autistics and ADHDers, particularly more subtle presentations of these neurotypes.
